Texas Association of Bass Clubs (TABC)

P.O. Box 781284

San Antonio, TX 78278-1284

The affiliation of your bass club with the Texas Association of Bass Clubs would be appreciated. Clubs can affiliate with as many members as they desire. However, the top 8 fishermen from 2016 must become members in order to fish the State Championship at Falcon Lake on September 30/October 1, 2017. Their membership must be completed by June 30, 2017.

This membership provides State representation in Austin, $2000 Accidental Death Policy (for all TABC members), a TABC card, and patch and decal, if requested.

TABC works for the environmental improvement to our Texas lakes.

Members (parents, grandparents, guardians) have the opportunity to apply for one of two $500 college scholarships for dependents with the provision that the member has been a TABC member for two years.

It is hoped that all Texas bass fisherpersons will unite through TABC representation. See the TABC website www.tabconline.org  for membership application with mailing address. Clubs can request a TABC representative to visit their club by emailing President Robert Rose at roserg@our-town.com .

Attention   Attention

This post is for the club teams that are fishing the State Championships at Lake Falcon the end of September. As you well know at the time of the tournament on the Mexican border the water temperatures are extremely high. ( ie: mid to upper 90's). In an effort to prevent excessive fish kill and be conservation minded, we are asking you the fisherman to let us know your opinion about reducing the daily bag limit to three (3) fish per day per boat. Please express you opinion to a board member as soon as possible. You may do so thru our web site,(www.tabconline.org) on Facebook or contacting your regional director. This is an important topic and needs to be addressed. The tournament director will make the decision at the captains meeting based on your responses so PLEASE respond. Thank you for your time on this matter.
