ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF TABC
CURRENT & RECENT PROJECTS
· Worked with TPWD to get additional stocking of bass in
select lakes.
· Worked with TPWD to get Northern Largemouth Bass (NLMB)
stocked in Public Lakes starting in 2003 in addition to FLMB
· Northern Largemouth Bass stocked in Amistad, Falcon & Choke
Canyon
· Worked with National Park Service, Lake Amistad to help get
lighting at Dialbo East Ramp
· Worked with National Park Service to get funds for ramp
improvements at Lake Amistad ($388,000.00)
· Worked with National Park Service, Lake Amistad to get
lighting in the two (2) parking lots at Dialbo East
· Worked with National Park Service, Lake Amistad to improve
the
· striping of the two parking lots at Dialbo East
· Currently working with National Park Service, Lake Amistad
to build and maintain weigh-in site at Dialbo East
· Worked with Del Rio Chamber of Commerce on paving of Box
Canyon Road
· Spoke to National Park Service, Lake Amistad concerning
additional parking and lighting at Box Canyon Ramp that will be needed
when road is paved
· Helped get BASSMASTER MAGAZINE to publish articles
concerning problems with Mexico Water Debt Problem at:
· Amistad & Falcon
· BASSMASTER MAGAZINE also published
articles on Falcon,
· Choke Canyon & Amistad in 2005
· Working with Larry Bridgeman, Falcon Lake Tackle to get
improvements at Lake Falcon
· Working with Peggy Moffett, Zapata Chamber of Commerce to
get ramp improvements at Falcon
· Working with Peggy Moffett, Zapata Chamber of Commerce to
get Federal Government to approve State Park or International Park on
Lake Falcon in Zapata.
· Stopped total clearing of all brush and habitat at Choke
Canyon
· Currently working to prevent usage of grass carp in flowing
streams
· Supports youth involvement in all TABC clubs
· Medina Lake fence in public waters problem
